OK, I haven't written a blog in a while and when I try to upload pictures I no longer get the choice of browsing my computer files. What is going on? Does this have something to do with Picassa, which I had to subscribe to in order to have storage space?
Nothing is wrong. Instead of looking at the lefthand list, just click "upload files" at the top. You'll be able to upload files from your computer.
ReplyDeletetried that, it doesn't work either.
DeleteΙ had the same problem and i was worrying because i could't upload new photos in my blog. I followed your instructions and i did it! Thank you very much!
DeleteI'm at this moment having the same problem. The suggestion didn't work for me either. I've re-booted twice, and come back to the same problem! Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Guess I'll just have to wait to post. ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteThis has been a problem for me for a few weeks.
DeleteI think I have the answer 'cause I was having the same problem. Before you click the picture icon, click the HTML button to the left first. Then click the picture icon. This will show up the little block for browsing and uploading pictures from your file. Choose your file and all the pictures will show up. Choose the pictures you want to add and click the Upload Image. All the pictures will upload at the same time - but in computer code. Close the box and click the Compose button in the left corner next to the HTML button you clicked first. All your pictures will convert to pictures from the code. Don't ask me why they changed this. It was a really stupid thing to do. I have been told that if you use another browser like FireFox there is no problem. But I don't have that option. Hope this works for you. It worked for me.

Liri,
DeleteYou are a computer genius. It works. A pain in the rear. But it works. Thanks!
Thank you, I've been having the same problems.
DeleteWell done Liri! I lost patience and started using Picasa Web Albums. Why on earth would Blogger make things any more difficult?
ReplyDeleteIf you use Google chrome as your browser, there are no problems with uploading the old way.
ReplyDeleteI use windows live writer to create my blog posts. So much better than blogger itself.
ReplyDeleteI changed to google chrome and can upload easily too.
