Two more finishes 😀 Little 16-patch quilts

I explored a color combination I've never done before...red, white and black.  Combining vintage and new fabrics in these 16 patch quilts is also something I've not done before.  The straight-set 16-patch quilt is all antique fabric with the exception of the border.  I wanted a large-scale print but had nothing usable in my antique fabric collection.  Thanks to Dawn for finding the perfect fabric in her repro stash for me.

In my tomato garden.
The medallions style quilt is made from all reproduction fabrics except for the binding.  It was just right for the job and none of my reproductions fit the bill.  I love this large scale border print too.  the only way to use such fabric to full effect in a little quilt is in a wide border.

 Here they are together.
