Here is how I can tell. It's a big mess!
I am getting ready for two events. I am giving a talk next week on Pennsylvania patchwork pillowcases. I tailor the talk to the audience and the time allotment each time. This time I had to resist the temptation to bring too many pillowcases. It is so hard to decide.
The other event I am preparing for is the Pennsylvania German Folk Art Sale held at the Mennonite Heritage Center in Harleysville, PA in December (www.mhep.org).
I have designed a new needle case for this year.
Many other color combinations in progress.
Time to get back to work!
I like a needle case with a pocket. Cute.
ReplyDeletehave fun at both events.
My sewing room (sunroom) today looks similar to yours, only I think mine is in worse disarray! I'm sure those little needle cases will be much loved! Have fun at your events! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteI love your needle case. Enjoy both the events and good luck at the sale.
ReplyDeleteGreat little needle case - and you have a wonderful production line going there!

My sewing room ALWAYS looks like that. I am always moving things to another space only to find that I need that space for the next step! Good luck on your presentations and the little needle case is super sweet.
ReplyDeleteI love the little needle cases. Especially the one with the cheddar/red polka dot fabric. I blogged about that fabric on 9/27/12 from Cape Cod because I saw some of it in an antique shop in some quilts and when I had gotten the reproduction fabric prior to that, it didn't seem like it could be authentic - to my untrained eye anyway. I just can't get enough of repro fabric!
ReplyDeleteLovely!! Good luck with your talk and sales.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt lab looks like a really great place to hang out
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your endeavours. I'd love to attend one of your lectures and see these marvellous pieces in person.
ReplyDeleteThe little needle cases are so cute! I know you will do well and have fun!
ReplyDeleteIs your upcoming pillowcase talk open to the public? I'd love to see your presentation.
ReplyDeleteAny needlecases for sale prior to the show??? I need one
ReplyDeleteAnn, love the way you work - the color combos are wonderful. I hope to be able to see one of your presentations some day.
