Look what I pulled out and dusted off? My faithful Bernina has been sitting idle for several months while I worked on my book. Now that the book is submitted, she's back in place and ready to take on some projects.
I have started working on items to sell at the Mennonite Heritage Center Pennsylvania German Folk Art Sale in December. I am dying to make some new quilts for the show. Last year, in addition to quilts, I made some small needle cases. Remember these? They were a big hit and sold out on the opening night. I am playing around with some new designs for needle cases and will try to make sewing roll ups, too.

Now for the give-away. One of my little quilts was recently published in Primitive Quilts and Projects. This is a beautiful publication with so many charming projects. The lovely editors at the magazine sent me some extra copies of the Fall 2013 issue and I would like to share two of them with you. Just leave a comment by noon on August 7 and I will pick two winners.
Congratulations of finishing your book! Great news! Primitive Quilts is a fun magazine...thanks for sharing...
