The year is flying by...

I have been busy working on my book--visiting with museums and private collectors.  I did my first photo shoot and will be going back in two weeks for a second session.  It's a lot of work but so much fun.  Can't share any of these photos, but here are some shots from around the house.

Christmas decorations will be out before you know it, but fall decor is still in place.

  1. Hi Ann,
I'm so glad you are enjoying the process of working on your book. I'm sure it is a lot of work but what a thrill you can do something so dear to your heart. Love your decor pics. The little cat/pumpkin rug is the sweetest. Love the black cats, including the live one! Take care, Lori

  4. What are those white pumpkins made of? They look waxy! Book comes first, by the way. We are all sitting on the edge of our seats!

  5. The black cat on the red and white quilt is so darling. I absolutely love black cats (although my is grey and white - go figure)!

  6. That last looks more like trouble and less like decor... :) So I'm wondering...do you go around and take all the extra junk that gets piled onto horizontal surfaces out of the way for those photos or does your family actually put stuff where it goes? Seems around here that neither the hubby nor I can keep a flat surface empty for long... But your decorations are sweet and I can't believe Christmas is just over a month away!
