I wanted the porch to be a cheerful place, so I painted the porch swing a bright color (all those decorating magazines have been showing this).
BEFORE
AFTER spraying two cans of white primer and 2 cans of green topcoat (and a very stiff right hand and wrist today).
Here is the view of the other end of the porch, where I am sitting right now writing this blog on my laptop.
Of course, I couldn't forget the cats since they actually run the household--a new cat tree for playing and napping.
I am not the only one in a new happy place.
looks like your hard word payed off - looks comfy and what a great day to sit out there!
ReplyDeleteENJOY!! That's a wonderful and cheery area! I love it; makes me wish my patio were screened in! And what a cat house! (Oh dear, that didn't come out exactly right, did it? *giggle*) ---"Love"

ReplyDeleteLovely bright new colour for your porch swing. Looks great.
ReplyDeleteWhew! It seemed like a lot of work, but you managed to come up with such an outstanding result! Choosing green as your hanging chair's topcoat really complements the look of your porch especially when the sunlight illuminates it. By the way, it was nice to have your porch screened to keep those pesky insects at bay.
