More quilts on display for the holidays

Isn't my husband lucky to be surrounded by beautiful quilts when he sits at his desk in the corner of the living room?  Kitty update:  we went to visit them yesterday and decided we want to adopt them.  Waiting for our references to be checked; hope to hear soon if we are "approved".

  13. Such a beautiful quilt! And if your hubby appreciates it, you're even luckier than I imagined. (Mine would ask what this "garbage" hanging from the wall is - partly as a joke, but he also has no appreciation for anything handmade.) And I'm excited for you about the kitties. I hope your references check out and you can bring those cuties home soon!

  15. Your quilt is a treasure. What a wonderful way to warm up a wall. I'm so glad to hear that you are adopting those adorable kitties! I have two sweet black cats and they've been the best companions. Please keep us updated on when they arrive in their new home.

  16. What a beautiful star quilt! I love the one that is folded inside the doll bed, too. I happen to have that exact bed, but mine is in old, pink paint. Not so pretty, but the paint is original. Do you suppose that the pattern was in a newspaper at some point in time? Your house looks great!
