PA German Interpretation...and celebrating 100 followers

You might normally see this eagle quilt design done with a white background, maybe with eagles done in combination of red, green, or gold.  Here is the PA German interpretation of this design.  From my collection, (photo from Marie Miller Antique Quilts website, from whom I purchased the quilt several years ago).   This just in...I have 100 followers now!  Thanks to everybody for their interest in my blog!!!

  3. oh my gosh this is on my list to make and Yes I bought a bolt of a lancaster blue to make it on the blue background
    what size is your quilt
    aaaaahhhhhhhhh beautiful what a treasure LOVE the center and that little border is just perfect.
