I just finished up three little quilt tops, made from my best friend--the half square triangle. Scrappy was the theme for these three little ones. My finished HSTs are 1 inch finished size.
Number 1
the border is a deep navy with gold motifs
Number 2
Number 3
Number 3 with it's antique doll quilt inspiration
Strips for next project. No HSTs in this one. I wonder what it will be...
oh boy I LOVE HST so will these be for sale at the quilt show in October???? LOVE that antique little quilt just beautiful thanks for sharing it with us Kathie
Ann, you know how much I love small doll quilts and these are just adorable! The colors you used are another favorite of mine! The yellow inner border and the half triangles is a perfect combination to set off these little cuties! Thank you for sharing, Carolyn
Your samples of HST are great. I especially like furrows and broken dishes. the brown and pink doll quilt is adorable and really worth of making a new one.
It's such a versatile little block and you have given each piece a different character. Will we see little 9 patches arriving in the fall?

ReplyDeleteAll of the hst quilts are so cute. I wonder if your strips are to make 9 patches - the start of your 9 patch log cabin you showed in your last post.
ReplyDeleteI like the basket display on the wall. I have a basket that would work well that way.
ReplyDeleteLove these little treasures!
