Colors, so many choices

Did you ever go shopping and find a top that you really liked?
That fit and flattered you really well?
So you bought it in every color they had?  I have.
I feel the same way about this little quilt I just finished.  I want to make it in every color combination I can think of.  It is based on an antique doll quilt as I mentioned in a previous post
I used colors as close to the original as I could.  Mine came out 16" x 16".  The original is 15" x 15.5".  The quilt went together so easily.  I thought the setting was going to be tricky with the diagonal sashing but it wasn't.   I love the way it turned out.  I have to make it in some other colors combinations.  Any suggestions?

  1. l am definitely one of those people who buy several when l find something l like. Your quilt is beautiful, and l can see why you want to make more. l would love to see this in turkey reds, poison greens and chrome yellows. Yummm!!!
Or maybe black, mustard and reds. Ooohh!!
Looking forward to seeing your next creation.

  2. Hey, I do that, too! Just makes so much more sense, especially when the item is on sale. That quilt is so cute, how about a combination of chocolate brown, pink and cream? Or brown, light blue and cream? Uh,oh, I better stop now before I get carried away, LOL.

  6. I just love it in red, white and blue! The blue sashing is just the right shade of blue, too. You could do something with red, green and cream for a Christmas theme, blues, greens and yellows would be nice, too. There are so many possibilities! That is just a great pattern. Will it show up in a magazine someday?
