omeSpunPrims recently updated her picturetrail with new items for sale. I couldn't resist purchasing this primitive doll, Lydda. She's on the left in this picture, sitting in a flat basket that hangs on the wall. The workmanship is wonderful.
The other doll is also a primitive reproduction doll. I think they need one more friend to make a trio.
A very sweet duo! So very different from the dolls I'm buying today for my project, but I'd be willing to bet yours were loved more because there were no video games, DVDs, and Chuck E. Cheese to distract from them.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Liri
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I have always loved dolls and those are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I like your flat basket. I just bought a pattern for one. Wish me luck--it's been awhile since I was a basketmaker.

You could make it a trio of friends but they might be happier as a family!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely need another one to complete the set.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to have to designate a museum for all your stuff to go to so it will be kept as well and cared for as you have;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Quilting!!
You are always finding the neatest things for your house! Hope you find just what you want for the third one! ---"Love"
ReplyDeleteThe basket is the perfect shelf for her. The dolls copmplete the corner very nicely. -Joanne
