Folk Art Sale

Local folks!  Mark your calendar for the annual Folk Art Sale at the Mennonite Heritage Center, Harleysville, PA, December 6-13, 2014.

I have finished quilts and ornaments for the show.  Next I  plan to design needle/scissor cases and pincushions, inspired by the quilts I made.  Last year the cases and pin cushions were quite popular, but I need a fresh design.  I am thinking of a tiny log cabin block for a pincushion and needle case done in same fabrics.  Hmmm....

  1. Log cabin pin cushions sound like a great idea! One could use a different color for different needle sizes or easy threaders (I'm always having to look for those!), and pins of course, could have their own place! I love the items in your pics, especially the log cabin blocks and quilt. Hope you do well at the sale! ---"Love"

  2. Oh, everything looks wonderful, I love all the items in the pictures. Too bad I live too far away to attend. The log cabin pin cushion sounds great, they are always cute. Best of luck with the sale!
