First iMac flaw I found--boo hoo

I tried to update my website (I use homestead.com and it has always been great) only to find that the site editing software is not compatible with Mac. And they make no guarantee, that if I purchase software (for example Parallels) that is supposed to allow Macs to use Windows, that it will work.

Anybody out there with experience on running/editing websites on an iMac?

  1. I don't have any experience with Macs, but you might contact Jo Morton as she uses a Mac and has a blog.

  3. No, but we have an IMac and lap top and the main disadvantages we found were the things that don't work on it and we had to purchase new versions of Word, Money program, etc. However, once you get all those kinks worked out, I'm sure you WILL be very happy with it. For us, there is no going back!

  5. I just returned my Mac after 10 days for a full refund. There were just way too many things I do that were not compatible. I was thinking of getting another PC with Windows to run them. Then it dawn on me, I do not need or want two computers to keep track of my stuff! My IT guy for my Toshiba printer said he did not like the MAC for business applications. And not being able to run my $5000 printer was the last straw.
